Discovering Rome and Italy has certainly released my artistic adventure. The four years I have spent there has given me the opportunity to understand painting in a very different way. Using old techniques and materials I discovered when I was there, a new expression emerged in my painting. My attraction towards illuminated manuscripts, primitive Italian painters and photography certainly explain my selection of sceneries, subjects and words which flow into my paintings.
For some time now, I have introduced collage techniques to my paintings to show in another way how time passes, the unlikely trajectories ans spaces.
I'm currently living in Bruxelles.
